I came to the conclusion a few months ago that my beloved office chair had to go. I loved this chair so much that I even called the company to see if I could buy a new one anywhere or buy some replacement parts to rebuild it.

I can’t believe it, but they no longer make my favorite chair. (I don’t know if it ever had a name). This was the most amazing chair, and it lasted years. It was a rolling office chair but it was blue microfiber suede fabric. It was such a great shade of blue. Think PANTONE Blue 072 HC.

I was going to buy a pink office chair but they were pricey and the quality was so-so for the money. I like padded arm rests and the pink ones I saw did not have padded arm rests. I also tried to find a used chair . I looked on Ebay, Craigslist and in several thrift shops  over the past few weeks.

I saw a chair online at Staples that was on sale. We were running errands last night so decided to forgo the pink chair and buy one that was on sale at Staples.

When we get to the store the one I saw online was not on sale at the store(darn-it) but they had some sale/clearance chairs. I found one that was a few dollars less than the one that I originally intended to buy and it was a bigger/nicer chair.

It was the Staples brand Binghamton chair

I don’t normally like such big chairs for my office/workroom as I have a small space. I have to say that I LOVE this chair and the best part is that it was on sale/clearance(I’m still not quite sure if it was a sale or a clearance).

I paid $65.00  down from $149.99 and because they didn’t have any in stock we asked for the floor model. Normally they charge you $7.99 to assemble a chair but since this was a floor model we didn’t have to pay that. I should note that when I buy floor models of anything I usually ask that a little bit be taken off since it is technically a used item. In this case I figured not having to pay the $7.99 assembly fee was like getting another discount off the price.

What I find really interesting is that when I read the reviews about this chair when I got home, people said that they love the chair but that the assembly is near impossible and to under no circumstances try to put this together yourself. So this worked out really well.

I have to say that this chair is very comfortable, and I actually really love the styling of it especially how the arms are curved. It has a modern look to it which appeals to me and it was in the price range of what I wanted to pay.
