Under the lilacs has been Browns favorite diggy spot since she was a puppy. She would dig a hole out and Nimby would always lie down in it enjoying the shade on hot summer days. Every now and then we fill in the holes she made so that she can dig them out again.
I grabbed this pen while we were at Staples recycling ink cartridges.
- Water-based, pigment gel ink
- Acid-free & archival quality ink system
The color is bright and vivid. It writes smoothly, and best of all it doesn’t smear (at least it hasn’t smeared yet). I love colored pens and this one is my new favorite. It was $1.00 at Staples and it is worth every penny.
When my ink rewards come in I
might go will be going back to pick up some of the other colors now that I know how awesome they are.
My husband and I seem to have songs from Bob’s Burgers stuck in our heads lately. I was looking for the Thanksgiving episode so my husband could hear the Thanksgiving song sailors in your mouth.
I hit gold when I found a version done by The National that is AMAZING!!
Apparently there is a project called Bob’s Buskers.
Through its three seasons, Bob’s Burgers has had a lot of fun coming up with silly little ditties. Phase two of these tunes’ histories is what the show is calling “Bob’s Buskers.” The series will feature prominent artists like Stephin Merritt of the Magnetic Fields covering Bob’s Burgers’ songs. In turn, one of the show’s animators then uses their version to make videos of the artists busking in front of the Bob’s Burgers storefront. First up is St. Vincent covering a song from the season two episode “Bad Tina,” in which Tina starts hanging out with bad girl Tammy.
I have this old photograph hanging above my computer. I have no idea who this man is(he came in a box of random stuff we bought at an auction), but I love looking at him. (don’t tell my husband!)
He looks so serious, but he’s wearing a fez so I bet he was a fun guy when he wasn’t looking stern for the photographer.
