Picked up a few yards of robot fabric. Some may be going up on Ebay or Etsy. Depends on how much room I can make on my fabric shelves to fit it in.

I’ve lost track on what # book I am on for this year oops. I remember this story from back when it happened. I thought it was really heartbreaking then, and 20 plus years later I still think it is heartbreaking. I haven’t watched the movie, I’m not sure that I could.
Into the wild by Jon KrakauerIn April 1992 a young man from a well-to-do family hitchhiked to Alaska and walked alone into the wilderness north of Mt. McKinley. His name was Christopher Johnson McCandless. He had given $25,000 in savings to charity, abandoned his car and most of his possessions, burned all the cash in his wallet, and invented a new life for himself. Four months later, his decomposed body was found by a moose hunter. How McCandless came to die is the unforgettable story of Into the Wild.
I have also read another Jon Krakauer book: Under the Banner of Heaven: A Story of Violent Faith which was also excellent.
